Our 20-degree bent shaft paddle is laminated, fiberglass/marine
epoxy Western Red Cedar blade, with hardwood cherry reinforced
outer shaft strips to strengthen and provide gunwale bump resistance.
Sandwiched in the epoxied shaft are two contrasting cedar core strips
for weight reduction. The oval shaft gets strip of curly or birdseye
maple that pleasantly appears in the ultra-thin blade. The directional
grip gets some special attention with matching exotic hardwoods.
Due to our building style, we also remove unneeded weight from the
paddle throat resulting in a weight of only 20oz for this pictured 56”!
We finish with UV resistant Spar. This paddle is crafted to be used
while looking and feeling great! Every paddle has unique wood grain
so it will always be recognizable as “your” paddle.

Workmanship guaranteed for 1 year from purchase and we offer 1
free refinish and inspection before the next season! Please do not use
this paddle backwards, the blade reaches forward for you. The
efficiency and strength of a bent shaft depends on it! Damage from
rocks or misuse is not covered however we offer off season repairs at
current shop rates.

Paddles are best stored indoors away from heat, hanging from the
grip as they will warp over time leaning in a corner. Yearly application
of a high-quality UV resistant spar will help prolong your paddle’s life.
