This boot wasn’t what I went into the store to buy but I’m glad I did. I’m used to big heavy leather boots so these are extremely light weight in comparison. They provide great traction and my first major hike with them it was pouring rain and my feet were bone dry. I only gave a 4 star rating because I’m concerned with how long they will last, they are mostly a synthetic material construction. Also the tongue is a little thin meaning the laces can bite into the top of your foot if you like your boots tied really tight. But overall I am happy with my purchase and the help you get at Great Lakes. Better service than big stores any day!
