An absolutely AMAZING recreational kayak. I am about 6'2" and 235lbs and I have no trouble getting in, getting out or enjoying a few hours out on the water. If I had any complaint it would be that the boat narrows a little too quickly to accommodate my legs the way a longer kayak would, HOWEVER, I still have no trouble finding a comfortable position to paddle for hours at a time. I love it. Took it out on a windier day on a medium size lake (roughly 1000ha) and had a blast in the chop.
Solid, light and fun to use... that would sum it up for me.
My wife bought it for me as an anniversary gift and now I have to fight her for it when we go out... I get stuck paddling her Sun Dolphin!
(BTW we were/are pretty happy with the 12' Sun Dolphin kayak we have, as a budget rec kayak, but the Ripple is in a completely different league for tracking and maneuverability and basic fun to paddle.)
